Ormož - Kogel (Litmerk)

Access to starting point:
We drive to Ormož, where at the roundabout with signs for Croatia, Središče ob Dravi, Ljutomer, Litmerk, Hardek, and the center, the described path begins. We park in one of the parking lots in the center or on the outskirts of the town.

Path description:
From the spot where we've parked, we walk to the roundabout mentioned in access to the starting point, and then we head on a marked road towards Lahonci and road signs for the settlements Litmerk and Hardek. The path ahead leads us past the Center for Reuse, and a little further we also pass by the Police. The settlement Ormož then ends, and the path takes us into the settlement Dobrava, where immediately after the road sign marking the start of the settlement, we cross an overpass over the main road Ptuj - Središče ob Dravi, and after the overpass, we veer slightly right. Further, we walk through the settlement Dobrava, and when the settlement ends, we turn left from a smaller crossroad onto a side road, along which the blazes continue. We follow the mentioned road to its end, and from the end of the road, we veer slightly right, continuing on a cart track that first leads through a meadow and then along the edge of the forest. Before the nearby farm, we turn slightly left into the forest, where at several crossings we follow the blazes. We continue through the forest for a few minutes, and when we return to the road, we proceed with a gentle ascent on the main road. In a gentle ascent, we reach the settlement Litmerk, where the road splits at the chapel. We continue on the right road, and after just a few steps, we turn left onto a cart track, then sharply left, so that for a short time we continue parallel to the left road. When a passage among the vineyards opens on the right, we turn right and ascend in a few minutes on a grassy passage to Kogel, from which a beautiful view opens up.
