Access to starting point:
From the highway Ljubljana - Koper we go to the exit Kozina, and then we continue driving on a regional road from Kozina towards Bazovica / Basovizza (Italy). Only a little after the national border we get to the settlement Pesek / Pese, where we park near the village church.
The starting point is situated on the right side of the parking lot, where we notice a macadam path.
Path description:
The marked path at first leads from the starting point on the macadam road with a view of Slavnik on the southeast and partial view of the Gulf of Trieste and valley of Glinščica on the west. After 15 minutes, we get to a marked junction, where we leave the macadam road and follow the blazes through the forest. The path is easy and marked. After 30 minutes, we get to the official peak Kokoš (674m).
