Access to starting point:
A) We leave Pomurska highway at exit Lipovci, and then we follow the road towards Beltinci, where we go right towards Bistrica and Ižakovci. In Srednja Bistrica we join a wider road, where we go right towards Razkrižje. When we get to Razkrižje, before the bridge over the river Ščavnica we turn left on a macadam parking lot, which is intended for visitors of Razkriški kot and blacksmith museum.
B) We leave Pomurska highway at exit for Turnišče, and then we follow the signs for Odranci and Črenšovci, and further signs for Ljutomer and Razkrižje. When we get to Razkrižje, before the bridge over the river Ščavnica we turn left on a macadam parking lot, which is intended for visitors of Razkriški kot and blacksmith museum.
C) We drive to Ljutomer (to here from Ptuj or from Pomurska highway exit Vučja vas), and then we stick to the direction for Razkrižje. In Razkrižje we go left towards Srednja Bistrica and Črenšovci, and immediately after the bridge over the river Ščavnica we turn right on a macadam parking lot, which is intended for visitors of Razkriški kot and blacksmith museum.
Path description:
From the parking lot, we go on the path towards Razkriški kot, where we at first walk on a macadam road which continues by the left bank of the river Ščavnica. After few minutes, we get to the nearby field, where we go right over the bridge to the nearby source Ivanov izvir, and then we return on the left bank of Ščavnica and we continue past the field, and then on a cart track. A little further, we ascend on an embankment, and then we go from the embankment slightly right (not over the bridge) and we continue on the path which still runs by the river. When we get to the next bridge we go right over the bridge, and after the bridge we in few steps get to a crossing.
We continue right upwards towards prehistoric settlement, to which we ascend in two minutes.
From the settlement we on the same path return to the last crossing, and then we continue along the river, this time on the right bank. We continue along the river, and a little ahead we on the left side bypass a fenced park. By the river we walk to the next marked crossing, where another signs for prehistoric settlement point us to the right, on the path which in few minutes ascends to the other settlement.
Also from here we return to the footpath which runs by the river, and after the next bridge, which crosses tributary of Ščavnica we go right towards the waterfall, and from the waterfall we go left towards the stream mill, and from there we go slightly left and we soon return on the path which runs by Ščavnica.
When we reach the mentioned path we go right towards Razkriški kot, and on the path we continue to the confluence of the rivers Ščavnica and Mura.
We can return on the path which runs by the river Ščavnica, or on the road Gibina - Šafarsko - Razkrižje.
