Access to starting point:
If you drive from the direction of Ljubljana, as me before Ribnica you turn from the main road left, as the traffic signs "obrtna cona Breg" and "industrial zone Lepovče" point us to, then you drive through this zone to the end, where the main road goes to the right across the former railway track (which they will again build) and after the crossing of the track you drive approx 200 meters to the edge of the forest, where you park.
Path description:
From the starting point you only follow the blazes. There are a lot of blazes, the path is very well-settled, so at this point thanks to PD Ribnica. For the path from the starting point to the cottage Jamarski dom, where there is also cave Francetova jama, you will need 25 minutes. The path is gentle, because you ascend only for 35 meters and then towards the cottage you descend back for 25 meters. The cottage is opened every day (look the photo), at the cottage there is a cave Francetova jama, which you can't visit, because it is closed with iron gates. But supposedly it is a very nice cave, but the legislation is like that, that the locals can't open it for public. At the cottage, you will be greeted by an interesting four-legged friend. In the cottage on the day of my visit they had stuffed squid, chevapcici and burger and also pancakes for dessert.
From here to Sveta Ana you have 50 more minutes of walking to the church of St. Ana, and the mountain hut is only 100 meters away from the church. You ascend from 580 to 910 meters. In the mountain hut they don't offer warm food and I think, that it is open only on weekends.
From Sveta Ana is a nice view towards the south.
From the mountain hut, you can go 15 more minutes ahead and you get to the walls of Sveta Ana, and from there a view opens up on the northern side, towards Dobrepolje and ahead.
The keeper of the mountain hut told us, that people like to walk on Sveta Ana in the winter. So, if you are reading this in the winter time, I recommend visiting.
On the way: Jamarski dom (580m), Francetova jama (580m)
