Rimski Vrelec - Poštarski dom pod Plešivcem

Access to starting point:
A) We drive to Ravne na Koroškem, and then from the roundabout in the middle of the town, we continue in the direction of Kotlje and Slovenj Gradec. Further, we drive through the settlement Pratnekar, and at the beginning of Kotlje, where a road branches off to the left towards Slovenj Gradec, we continue straight, at the end of the settlement Kotlje we go right towards Ivarčko lake, and then few 10 meters further, after crossing the stream Hotuljka left on a parking lot by the decaying hotel Rimski Vrelec.
B) We drive to Slovenj Gradec, and then we continue driving towards Stari trg and forward towards Kotlje and Ravne na Koroškem. When we get to Kotlje, from the crossroad with the priority road we continue left (right - Ravne na Koroškem), and then at the end of the settlement Kotlje we continue right towards Ivarčko lake. Few 10 meters further, after crossing the stream Hotuljka, we go left on a parking lot at hotel Rimski Vrelec, where we park.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we walk to a decaying hotel Rimski vrelec and we bypass it on the right side, where the path leads us past NOB monument, and then on the macadam road we walk to a ski slope Rimski vrelec - Kotlje, which we bypass on the left bottom side. A little further, at the pole of a high voltage power line, we continue left over a bridge, and when few steps ahead we reach an asphalt road, we follow it to the right.
Further, we walk on the asphalt road which leads us past a turn-off of the path towards the cave Pekel, past the company Šumah avto and past the birth house of Prežihov Voranc, which is situated on the right side of the road. A little further from the birth house of known Slovenian writer, the asphalt ends, and from the crossroad we continue straight in the direction of the mountain hut Poštarska koča. The macadam road then turns left, and newer hiking signposts point us to the right on a cart track, on and by which we continue at first through the forest, and higher on a panoramic grassy slope. On a grassy part, the cart track turns left and returns into the forest, through which it is ascending diagonally. Higher, the path flattens and it brings us out of the forest on meadows, from which a beautiful view opens up, which reaches all the way to Golica / Koralpe. With nice views we reach the farm Zagršnik, where we continue left, and in a gentle descent, we reach the crossroad at the homestead Šuler, where we go right in the direction of the mountain hut Poštarski dom. Next follows an ascent to organic farm Ravnjak, where they have besides the culinary offer also 4 apartments, sauna, children's playground...
Above the farm, the road which again becomes a macadam, passes into a lane of a forest, where from the left joins also a marked path from Slovenj Gradec, and to the mountain hut Poštarski dom pod Plešivcem separates us only a minute of easy walking.
