We leave Dolenjska highway at the exit Trebnje - east. We continue past Trebnje and Mirna, and before the village Puščava, we turn left towards Šentjanž. We follow the road that runs through the villages Dolenje Jesenice, Veliki Cirnik, Podboršt, and Hinje, and we are already in Šentjanž. We drive past the inn Gostilna pri Repovžu and the bar Medvedov brlog to the parking lot at the bus stop.
From Sevnica to Šentjanž, we pass through the settlements Radna, Jelovec, and Krmelj.
Path description:
From the bus stop in Šentjanž, we walk a few minutes along the road towards the village Osredek pri Krmelju, and signs soon direct us to the right past a few houses. After a larger farm, the asphalt road turns into a forest path, which soon moderately ascends. After a few minutes of walking through the forest, we return to the asphalt road, which leads to Leskovec v Podborštu. We continue to follow the signs, which, with the exception of a few minutes of walking on a forest path, lead along the asphalt road to Leskovec v Podborštu. Here, past the church of Our Lady of Sorrows, after a few dozen meters, we reach the summit, where a wooden cross, a table, and benches stand.
