Šentjur (center) - Resevna (gentle path)

Access to starting point:
We leave Štajerska highway at the Dramlje exit, and then follow the signs for Šentjur. When we arrive in Šentjur, we park in one of the parking lots in the town center.

Path description:
From the center of Šentjur we continue towards the south and walk on the sidewalk by a fairly busy road, and at the crossroads, we continue straight. The path initially leads past the health center Šentjur, bakery Luna, patisserie Jana, and then we go through an underpass under the railway track. After the underpass, we cross the river Voglajna over a bridge, and then go right in the direction of the primary school, kindergarten, sports hall Hruševec, and Resevna. The path ahead leads us for some time on the sidewalk, and at the crossroads, we continue straight. Further, we walk on the street Ulica II. bataljona, and behind the chapel, the marked path splits, but the crossroad is not marked.
We continue slightly left (slightly right of the road signs for Resevna and Kranjčica) on a side road, along which we start gradually ascending.
At the Rataj farm, the road turns to the left and begins ascending somewhat more steeply. With beautiful views, we quickly ascend to a hamlet with a few houses, where the road turns to the right, and then we continue ascending diagonally to the right for some time. Higher up, we leave the area of individual houses and enter the forest; at the next house, a path joins from the right, leading along the nearby stream, but due to the pasture and passage through private land, it is no longer passable (on some maps, a footpath along the stream is still marked).
A little further, the road splits, and we choose the left road (the right road leads towards the Užmah farm), and just a few dozen steps ahead, we arrive at a marked crossing.
Signs for the steep path here direct us to the right, but we continue straight on a macadam road closed to public traffic, which begins to ascend more steeply through the forest. After some more diagonal ascent, slightly to the right of the farm Plošenšek, we reach a small saddle where the road flattens; a bit further, as we re-enter the forest, both paths from the starting point by the stream Kozarica join us from the left.
We continue in the direction of Resevna, walking briefly on the macadam road, then signs for Resevna and path Gaberškova pot guide us to the right onto a footpath that ascends diagonally through the forest along the slopes of Mala Resevna. Higher up, we pass an older house, then ascend via stairs to an asphalt parking lot, where a drivable road leads.
We bypass the parking lot on the left side, and in front of the nearby house, we turn right onto a macadam road, continuing the ascent. The road first leads past the NOB monument, then a steep path, the path over Krajnče, and the path from Štore join from the right.
We continue straight, moderately ascending on a rougher road that leads us past the cottage Planinsko zavetišče na Resevni, and about a minute further, we arrive at the mountain hut Planinski dom na Resevni.
We bypass the mountain hut on the left side, then go right and quickly ascend to the summit of Resevna, where a 20-meter-high lookout tower stands, from which, in good weather, a beautiful view opens up, reaching far around.
