Access to starting point:
From Maribor or Dravograd we drive to Radlje ob Dravi, and there from the crossroad near the stores Hofer and Lidl, we drive on the road in the direction of small border crossing Radelj. Next follows an ascent to mountain pass Radeljski prelaz (674 meters), and when we get to Austria the road starts descending. We are descending to a crossroad, where the road branches off to the left towards the settlement Sveti Lovrenc / St. Lorenzen. From the crossroad, where we leave the main road, we again start ascending, and at the crossroads, we follow the signs for Sveti Lovrenc. When we get to the mentioned settlement, we drive to the church of St. Lovrenc, where we park on a parking lot by the cemetery.
Path description:
From the church of St. Lovrenc we return to the main road, and then we continue towards the west. We quickly get to a marked crossing, from which we continue on the left road in the direction of Sveti. Jernej / St. Bartholomä, Sveti Primož / St. Primon and Sveti trije Kralji / Hl. Drei König. The path ahead leads us past the chapel, few houses, and then it splits.
From the road, we go slightly right in the direction towards Sveti Jernej (further on the road - Bricnik and Slovenian path towards Sveti Jernej), where the path below nearby house leads into the forest. Through the forest at the crossings we follow the blazes, and then we quickly reach the macadam road which we follow to the right, and at the nearby crossroad, we go straight. A little further, we go from the road left downwards and we start visibly descending towards at first still a quite distant small stream. Lower, we cross the stream and then we ascend out of the forest and on a cart track we ascend to the nearby homestead, behind which the cart track changes into a macadam road. Behind the rocky chapel we leave the road and we continue straight into the forest, and the path again starts descending. Lower, we cross another stream, by which used to be mill Pušnikov mlin / Puschnigg - Mühle (today only ruins are visible), after that on a cart track we ascend to a pasture, where the footpath vanishes. Through the pasture we ascend to homestead Pušnik / Puschnigg, and then we follow the asphalt road towards the southwest.
When the road turns right, at the marked crossing we leave it and we continue left downwards in the direction of Sveti Jernej. The path already after few steps stops descending, from the crossing we go straight (right - Mlake / Laaken), and the chapel which is in quite bad condition, we bypass on the right side. Next follows a walk on a gentle cart track, on which in few minutes we get to Slovenian side of the national border, and few steps ahead we join the cart track, on which leads the path from Bistriški jarek.
We continue towards Sveti Jernej, and the path a little higher comes out of the forest, where we go right, for some time once again in the forest. We quickly leave the forest and then past the cemetery we reach the church of St. Jernej.
The stamp and inscription box are situated a little further at the homestead Primož.
