Visoko (Mali Kurešček) - Sveti Lenart (Krvava Peč)

Access to starting point:
A) First, we drive to Ig, and then we continue driving towards Kurešček. When the road branches off to the left towards Kurešček from the main road, we continue straight, and then we quickly arrive at the settlement Visoko. About 200 meters ahead of the sign that marks the beginning of the settlement, on the part where the road runs through the forest, on the right side we notice the hiking markers for Kurešček, Krvava Peč, Vrbica and Iški Vintgar. We park in a suitable place by the road.
B) First, we drive to the settlement Rob (to here from the road Ljubljana - Kočevje, where at the settlement Rašica we turn towards the settlement Rob, or from Notranjska) and from there in the direction of Kurešček. Higher up, we arrive at the settlement Zapotok, where at the junction by the bus stop we continue straight, and then we drive past the ranch, after it we arrive at another bus stop at the hamlet Mali Kurešček. Here too we continue straight, and when the road enters the forest, on the left side we notice the hiking markers for Kurešček, Krvava Peč, Vrbica and Iški Vintgar. We park in a suitable place by the road.

Path description:
From the starting point, we head onto the marked path in the direction of Krvava Peč, Vrbica and Iški Vintgar. The path starts with a few shorter ascents and descents and leads us through the forest and across karst meadows. We follow the relatively easy-to-follow trail at the junctions in the direction of the markers, and after some time we reach the macadam road, which we follow to the left. Next follows an ascent on the macadam road, which makes a few hairpin turns, and then we arrive at the next marked junction, where the path from Mokrc or the starting point Kamen joins.
The path ahead leads us on a gentler macadam road, from which soon to the left branches a worse road (path past Pavlinovo brezno), and we continue on the wider road, which gradually passes into an indistinct valley, where at the junction we continue slightly left.
We continue on the wider road (on the right road we can get to Mokrc), which after the small saddle Repičnik starts gradually descending. First we go past a smaller spring, and then in a few hairpin turns we descend to a junction, where from the left the path past Pavlinovo brezno joins.
We continue right and in a gentle descent continue to Krvava Peč, where from the right the path from Iški Vintgar joins. Here we go left and past the Veterans' Home OZVVS Velike Lašče descend to a marked junction in the village.
At the junction we choose the right path (left church of St. Lenart on the road), which also leads towards St. Lenart, a little further we go from the road to the left and through the yard and past the field walk to the edge of the forest, where the path starts to ascend more steeply. Soon we arrive at a viewpoint with a bench and table, from which a nice view opens onto the other side of the Iška River, where we see Osredek, and left behind the view reaches all the way to Snežnik.
At the bench the path turns left and quickly brings us to the road, which we also follow to the left, along which we walk to the nearby church of St. Lenart from the 17th century.
