Žerovinci (Dom krajanov in gasilcev Žerovinci) - Jeruzalem

Access to starting point:
From Ormož we drive towards Ljutomer or vice versa, and when we get to the settlement Žerovinci we go towards Dom krajanov in gasilcev, where we park.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we walk to the main road and we carefully cross it, and then we continue right towards Ormož. Only few 10 strides ahead, cycling signs for Jeruzalem and Svetinje point us to the left on a side road, by which we are then accompanied by trail blazes. At first, we are gently ascending, and after the pasture, the road passes into the forest and ascends steeper. Already after a short ascent, we leave the forest and further we are ascending among vineyards and individual houses. When higher on an indistinct ridge we reach another asphalt road we follow it to the right (left - Radomerščak and the main road Ormož - Ljutomer), and then we quickly get to the chapel, where the road splits. At the crossing there is information board about Stanko Vraz, and we continue on the right road which leads past the chapel, and there we quickly descend to the nearby birth house of Stanko Vraz, which we notice on the right side of the road.
A little further from the birth house, we go left and we soon return on the road, if we would at the chapel continue slightly left. Next follows some descent and the path again splits. We continue on the left path (straight Jeruzalem - path past the vineyard cottage Malek) in the direction of the footpath on Jeruzalem. The nearby house we bypass on the right side, and then we descend on a cart track to the forest. Through the forest, we follow the blazes, and we are still descending. When we lower reach the road we go right and then immediately left on a marked macadam road. On the road, we start lightly ascending, and when the road becomes asphalted we continue on the right, still macadam road, and from there we go at the power line pole left on a cart track which is ascending by lane of bushes. Higher, the path leads us through a lane of a forest and then we reach the fenced place before the vineyard. We continue on inner side of the fence (in doing so we have to be careful, to close the "door" well), and we continue the ascent by the right edge of the vineyard. Higher, we go sharply left and we diagonally ascend to an asphalt road, and when we reach it, we go right, and there we continue the ascent to a few minutes distant peak, where there is a church, and a little lower by the parking lot also an inscription box.
