Žerovinci (Dom krajanov in gasilcev Žerovinci) - Jeruzalem

Access to starting point:
From Ormož we drive towards Ljutomer or vice versa, and when we arrive in the settlement Žerovinci, we drive to the Dom krajanov in gasilcev, where we park.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we walk to the main road and carefully cross it, then we continue right towards Ormož. Just a few dozen steps ahead, the cycling signs for Jeruzalem and Svetinje direct us left onto a side road, along which trail blazes then accompany us. At first we gently ascend, after the pasture the road enters the forest and ascends more steeply. Already after a short ascent we leave the forest and continue ascending among vineyards and individual houses. When higher on an indistinct ridge we reach another asphalt road, we follow it to the right (left Radomerščak and main road Ormož - Ljutomer), along it we quickly arrive at a chapel, where the road forks. At the fork there is an information board about Stanko Vraz, we continue on the right road which leads past the chapel, along it we quickly descend to the nearby birth house of Stanko Vraz, which we notice on the right side of the road.
A little further from the birth house we go left, soon we return to the road, if at the chapel we continued slightly left. A little descent follows and the path splits again. We continue on the left path (straight Jeruzalem - path past the vineyard cottage Malek) in the direction of the footpath to Jeruzalem. We bypass the nearby house on the right side, then descend along a cart track to the forest. Through the forest we follow the blazes, and we continue descending. When lower we reach the road we go right and then immediately left onto the marked macadam road. Along the road we begin to ascend gently, when the road becomes asphalt we continue to the right, still along the macadam road, from it at the power line pole we go left onto the cart track that ascends along a strip of bushes. Higher the path leads us through a strip of forest, then we reach the fence before the vineyard. We continue along the inner side of the fence (taking care to close the "gate" properly), the ascent continues along the right edge of the vineyard. Higher we go sharply left and ascend diagonally to the asphalt road, when we reach it we go right, along it we continue the ascent to the summit a few minutes away, where the church is located, a bit lower by the parking lot there is also the stamping box.
