Access to starting point:
Zgornja Sveča (Dolina Winettou) is ideally accessible from the direction of Majšperk and Rogatec. We park by the torrent stream Skralska at the turn-off for Dolina Winettou.
Path description:
From the starting point, we continue in the direction of Dolina Winettou valley, on a well-hardened forest road. Just before the final turn-off for Winettou, sharply to the left, continuation on the forest road. After a few hundred meters to the right onto a typical forest mountain path and soon by/above a lonely homestead, a little higher passage onto a clearing with some views. We continue on the excellently marked mountain path and reach again a well-hardened forest road. After a few hundred meters by the path there is the cottage of the Zavod za gozdove Maribor and some open terrain with a meadow. This is followed by continuation on the mountain path, partly cart track, to the junction with the Haloška planinska pot. At the junction we go sharply left upwards, where after a few dozen meters we reach the highest peak of the Haloze hills. From the top there are some views in the direction of north and east.
