Bukov vrh is 1314 meters high peak, which is located on the northern edge of Trnovski gozd. Mostly forested peak, which is covered with beech forest, towards the north steeply descending towards the valley Trebuščica, towards the south continues on a plateau Trnovski gozd. Through treetops, a view opens up a little towards Golaki and Škofjeloško and Cerkljansko hribovje, otherwise the peak, which is in good snow conditions a nice ski touring destination, is also a virgin forest reserve.
