Stari grad is located on a 398-meter-high hill in Arboretum Volčji Potok, so to ascend to the summit, you need to buy a ticket to enter the park. From the top, which has some renovated ruins, there are partial views towards Posavsko hribovje and surrounding villages as well as Krvavec and its surroundings; forest obstructs the view in other directions.
