Description of mountain:
Cima Formenton is 2830 meters high peak in the mountain group Tofana. The mountain is situated north from a better known Tofana di Dentro, and to the summit leads an unmarked footpath. In the vicinity of the summit there is also a lot of remains from the time of the first world war. From the top on which there is a smaller cross is a very nice view towards the nearby Tofana di Dentro, we can also very nicely see mountains east from Cortina d'Ampezzo and mountain group Lavarella.
