Gora sv. Eme (Junska gora) / Hemmaberg

Description of mountain:
Gora svete Eme (Junska gora) / Hemmaberg is located south from the village Podjuna / Jaunstein. On the summit stands the church of St. Ema (Hema) Krške, and next to it, there are renovated ruins of former churches. A little below the summit there is also cave of St. Rozalija / Rossliengrotte and in it, there is a source of healing water / Quelle bei Rosaliengrotte. From the top, a beautiful view opens up towards Podjuna / Jauntal and surrounding mountains.
Beacause of the danger of falling stones the access to the cave of St. Rozalija and to the source is not possible (January 2019).
