Grmada above Celje

Description of mountain:
What Šmarna gora is to people from Ljubljana, Grmada is to those from Celje. Celje's local mountain lies south of the town above Zagrad village. From the summit, topped by a large cross, there are fine views over Posavsko hribovje, Celjski Stari grad Castle, Celje, and part of the Savinja Valley. In good visibility, the panorama stretches from the Julian Alps and Karawanks through the Kamnik-Savinja Alps to Pohorje. Near the cross on the summit is also a wish bell and a logbook box.
