Hocharn

Description of mountain:
Hocharn (also Hoher Aar, Hochnarr) is with 3254 meters the highest peak in the mountain group Goldberg. The summit is located on the border between states Kärnten (Koroška) and Salzburg (Solnograška). From the top, there is a very nice view of a larger part of the mountain group goldberg, we can also clearly see Grossglockner (Veliki Klek). Below the slopes of the peak there are situated glaciers Hocharnkees (east), Krummelkees (north) and Großfleißkees (west).
