Description of mountain:
Hochschober is 3240 meters high mountain in the mountain group Schober. The mountain is otherwise the fourth highest in the mountain group, in spite of that the mountain group got its name after this mountain. On the northern side of the mountain is situated also a glacier Schoberkees. From the top, there is otherwise a very nice view of a larger part of the mountain group Schober, we can also clearly see Grossglockner. Mountain was first ascended by Franz Keil on 18th August 1852.
