Hruška planina

Description of hut:
Hruška planina is today a lively cattle pasture at 1378 m elevation, accessible from several starting points near Plavški rovt above Jesenice and Hrušica. On it stands a shepherd's hut well stocked with homemade dishes, where hikers heading to nearby peaks often stop. It lies in a sheltered valley at the foot of Hruški vrh, where a large herd of livestock grazes by a swampy pond that provides habitat for ducks, dragonflies and frogs. From here it is possible to continue hikes to Golica, Klek, Hruški Vrh, Koprivnjak and Dovška Baba. On the wall of the hut there is also a logbook.
