Koren (Italian Monte Corona, German Kronalpe) is a 1832-meter-high peak east of the Mokrine pass, more precisely above the Vrh Krnice saddle on the border between Austria and Italy. On the slopes of the mountain, which are mostly grassy, livestock graze in the summer months. From the top, where a stamp and a large cairn are located, there is a beautiful view of the nearby peaks in the Carnic Alps.
