Description of mountain:
Lagazuoi Piccolo is 2778 meters high mountain, which is situated north from the mountain pass Passo Falzarego (2105m). From the top that has a cross a wonderful view opens up on the highest peaks of Dolomites, where we clearly see Marmolada and its glacier, and we also notice Tofana di Rozes, which together with its neighbors Tofana di Mezzo and Tofana di Dentro occupies space west from Cortina d'Ampezzo.
Lagazuoi Piccolo is a mountain, which is known mainly from a historical perspective. On the area of the mentioned mountain in the 1st world war took place a battle between Italians and Austro-Hungarian army, which changed the appearance of the mountain. The mountain is perforated with numerous underground tunnels, through which now runs interesting mountain path, which basically through the inside of the mountain brings us to the summit.
Lagazuoi Piccolo also has "bad" feature because almost to the summit of the mountain runs a cableway, which to the summit attracts thousands of tourists (in the winter skiers).
