Lokovnikov Grintovec / Grintoutz

Description of mountain:
Lokovnikov Grintovec is dwarf pined peak north from Košutica, from which it is separated by saddle Dovjakovo sedlo (1728 meters). Its southwestern and western slope is surrounded by an ample mountain pasture Dovjakova planina, and towards Hajnžev graben it is descending with steep grass and scree. On the east, a smaller saddle Majerjevo sedelce (1625 meters) connects it with forested Praprotnik / Zeller Praprotnik, 1727 meters, where there are spreading over mountain pastures Majerjeva and Lokovnikova planina (1543 meters). Its northern slopes are steeply descending towards Petrovec / Petrouz, 1506 meters. The peak is quite rarely visited, which is confirmed by a small footpath which is almost overgrown by dense dwarf pines and in some parts by faded blazes. A rare visit is actually unreasonable, because it is considered to be a very panoramic peak. The view is perhaps even more beautiful than from neighbouring a little higher Košutica.
