Monte Coppa

Description of mountain:
Kopa (on some maps also Kopje) or in Italian Monte Coppa is 1496 meters high peak, which is situated on the Italian side of Karawanks. In the vicinity of the summit used to run old Rapallo border, therefore by the path to the top and almost on the very summit we can notice many old structures, which Italians built in time between the both world wars. The peak is vegetated with forest, so from there a view opens up only a little through the treetops.
