Description of mountain:
Monte Sief also Sief Spiz de le Seleghe is 2424 meters high mountain, which is situated west from the mountain passes Valparola and Falzarego. The peak is important mainly from a historical perspective, because battles were fought here in the time of the first world war. On the mountain there are a lot of military tunnels and trenches, which are nicely renovated. On the ridge near the peak is also visible huge crater, which was formed after explosion of more than 45 tons of explosives. From the top is otherwise very nice view towards the mountain groups Sella, Marmolada and Tofana.
