The Partisan Hospital on Mežakla is a modest wooden structure near Zakop, built in December 1942 as a shelter for the wounded. It was also known as Mala bolnica and represented the first partisan hospital in Gorenjska. Notably, the Germans never discovered it throughout World War II.
