Pečke

Description of mountain:
Pečke is an easily accessible peak that has seen fewer visitors lately, located north of the main Pohorje ridge. It gets more visits only on May 1st during a traditional hike. Views are limited by trees, but parts of Maribor and Kozjak are nicely visible; across, on good weather days, also Koralpe/Golica in Austria. At the summit is a hunting hut with tables, benches, and children's play equipment. Nearby is a signpost, and in close proximity a nice marked trail toward Glažuta, Areh, and beyond. Alternatively, you can go to the lookout tower above Bolfenk or toward the wine-growing Meranovo.
