Description of mountain:
Petelinjek is a smaller ridge, which is situated west to southwest from Korensko sedlo. Ridge is mostly located on the Slovenian side, only the highest peak borders to the neighbouring Austria. The peak itself is partly covered by forest, but from the spot, to where brings us a ski lift from the Austrian side, a nice view opens up on part of the western Julian Alps, Carnic Alps, Gailtal Alps, Gurktal Alps, in good visibility, the view reaches all the way to High Tauern. On the top there is border stone with number XXVII 263.
