Pralongia

Description of mountain:
Pralongia is 2109 meters high peak on a plateau Pralongia in Alta Badia. On the summit is situated also the mountain hut Rifugio Pralongia, which is the highest situated and the oldest mountain hut on the mentioned plateau. The peak is surrounded with numerous ski tracks and the upper stations of cableways. From the top, there is otherwise a very nice view towards the mountain groups Marmolada, Sella, Puez and Lavarella. Nicely we can also see peaks above the mountain pass Passo Valparola. In the surroundings of the peak there are also children's playgrounds and an interesting learning path with numerous information boards. On the summit is situated also a well-settled chapel of St. Anthony.
