Pralongia

Description of mountain:
Pralongia is a 2,109-meter-high peak on the Pralongia plateau in Alta Badia. The Rifugio Pralongia hut, the highest-lying and oldest hut on the mentioned plateau, is also located on the summit. The peak is surrounded by numerous ski slopes and upper cableway stations. From the summit there is a very nice view of the Marmolada, Sella, Puez, and Lavarella mountain groups. Peaks above the Passo Valparola pass are also clearly visible. In the surroundings of the peak there are children's playgrounds and an interesting educational trail with numerous information boards. A nicely arranged chapel of St. Anthony is also located on the summit.
