Preber is 2740 meters high peak, which is situated in the heart of the mountain group Schladminger Tauern. The peak on which stands a cross, is very popular mountaineering destination of touring skiers, because gentle upper slopes offer exceptional skiing. The view from the peak in good weather reaches all the way from Lower and High Tauern to Julian Alps.
