Prižnica

Description of mountain:
Prižnica is 383 meters high peak, which is situated above the left bank of river Soča, namely between the settlements Deskle and Plave. Peak known also under the name survey point 383 was in the time of the first world war a scene one of the worst battles of Isonzo front. Just on the mentioned battlefield has fallen around forty thousand soldiers. Today on a slope Prižnica they are making a memorial park with information boards, and they have nicely made also the path on the mentioned hill.
