Rojacher Hütte

Description of mountain hut:
Mountain hut Rojacher Hütte is situated in the mountain group Goldberg below the slopes of the peak Hoher Sonnblick at an altitude 2718 meters. From the mountain hut is a very nice view towards the nearby glacier Goldbergkees and on the mentioned Hoher Sonnblick. We can nicely see also Schareck (3122 meters) and Alteck (2942m). Mountain hut got its name after mine owner Ignaz Rojacher, who also built meteorological observatory on the summit Hoher Sonnblick. The mountain hut is open from the end of June to the end of September.
