Salzkofel is a 2,498-meter-high mountain in the Kreuzeck group of the Hohe Tauern in Austria.
It is the highest peak of the ridge that starts eastward with the indistinct summit of Koppen (2,158 m) and then Kleiner Salzkofel (2,222 m).
A summit cross stands on the top, along with a summit register book and stamp.
