Veliki Javornik (Javorniki)

Description of mountain:
Veliki Javornik is a 1,268-meter-high peak of the forested hills named Javorniki. The extensive Javorniki forests stretch from Postojna to Cerkniško polje. The Javorniki forests are home to many bird species and other wild animals such as bear, wolf and lynx.
On the top of Veliki Javornik stands a smaller cottage of the Proteis radio club from Postojna.
