Veliko Cerje or Veliki hrib is 343 meters high hill, which is situated on the far western part of the ridge Črni hribi. From the top, on which there is situated a large monument in the memory of returning Primorska to the country of origin, a nice view opens up on Vipava valley, Trnovski gozd, part of Adriatic sea, south Dolomites and the highest peaks of the Julian Alps, where there stand out Kanin, Krn and Triglav.
