Watzmannhaus is German mountain mountain hut at an altitude 1930 meters, on the northern side of the ridge of massif Watzmann. It's situated in National park Berchtesgaden. The mountain hut is open for visitors from middle of May to the middle of October. Access to the hut is possible from 4 starting points: parking Wimbachbrücke (630 meters): 4 h; Gasthaus Hammerstiel (780 meters): 4 h; settlement Königssee (605 meters): 4 h 15 min; church Sankt Bartholomä (605 meters): 5 h. From the mountain hut leads the path towards the main ridge: Watzmann-Hocheck (2651 meters) 2½ h from the mountain hut; Watzmann-Mittelspitze (2713 meters) 3½ h from the mountain hut; Watzmann-Südspitze (2712 meters) 5 h from the mountain hut.
