Mountain hut Wiener Neustädter Hütte is situated below west wall of the peak Zugspitze at an altitude 2213 meters. From the mountain hut is a nice view mainly on walls of the nearby peaks, nice is also a view on the north towards the lake Eibsee. The mountain hut is otherwise situated right below the cable car, which runs on Zugspitze. The mountain hut was built in the year 1884. The mountain hut is usually open from the end of June to the beginning of October.
