Zabreznik (Sv. Miklavž)

Description of mountain:
Zabreznik is a peak, which is situated northeast above Izlake. With 625 meters it is the highest peak of the mentioned local community, and the name got after the hamlet Zabreznik, which is situated at its foot, below the hamlet Ržiše. On the top we get to a meadow with a nice view towards Čemšeniška planina, Čemšenik, Prhovec and Reber and it is ideal for a picnic in the nature. And on the very summit there is also the church of St. Miklavž, in which occasionally there are also masses. The peak isn't well visited and therefore it is ideal for a peaceful walk. In the vicinity of the summit there is a historical monument - castle Gamberk, to which we can extend the trip.
