Path description:
From the starting point, we continue right on a side road which is closed to public traffic. We soon arrive at a smaller crossroad, where we continue straight (the left road ends on the slopes of Tomanova planina), then the path brings us along the upper edge of the nearby pasture, from where a beautiful view opens towards the hills above the Tuhinjska valley. Behind the pasture, we continue on the left upper road, then at the smaller crossroad straight ahead. A little further, the forest ends and we arrive at the upper edge of a larger scenic hay meadow, from which a view opens onto the surrounding hills.
A few steps before we step onto the mentioned slope, a cart track continues straight ahead, on which we will also continue (further along the Ovčje jame road). After a short ascent, we arrive at a junction of several cart tracks, where we continue slightly left onto the cart track that continues ascending. Further on, there are quite a few junctions, where we choose by feel those branches where the path ascends the most. After the last junction on the mentioned section, a short descent follows, then we bypass the nearby sinkhole, after which we ascend to the saddle between Podbevška peč and Seduc.
At the mentioned saddle, where there is also a cross with a logbook, we reach the marked path that leads from the pass Črnivec towards Menina planina, which we follow to the right. A little further, we step onto another cart track, from which we occasionally get some views to the north. The cart track narrows a little further into a wide path, which soon joins the next cart track, along which we quickly arrive at a pasture fence, behind which we step onto the pasture areas of the nearby mountain pasture. The path continues ahead with some shorter ascents and descents and leads us across pastures and through the forest to the eastern edge of Planina Ravni, where a shepherd's hut stands.
From Planina Ravni we continue in the direction of Dom na Menini planini and Planina Travnik. The path ahead rises gently and soon enters the forest, through which it then continues for some time. Somewhat further, we join a wide cart track, along which we soon emerge from the forest. When we emerge from the forest, we step onto the western part of Planina Travnik, across which we then walk to the shepherd's hut on the other side of the mountain pasture. A poorly visible footpath leads us there, crossing the mountain pasture.
Starting point - Planina Ravni 1:35, Planina Ravni - Planina Travnik 30 minutes.
