Access to starting point:
We drive to Rogašovci, and then we go on the road in the direction of Kramarovci, and then we continue towards Austria. We park on the Slovenian side of the border crossing at the former border building.
Path description:
From the parking lot, we continue towards Austria into which we enter after the border stream Kučnica. On Austrian side we go at first crossroad right in the direction of Sveta Ana / St. Anna and we are then lightly ascending on a narrower asphalt road, by which we are accompanied by occasional blazes. Higher, we reach a smaller indistinct ridge, where we continue slightly right (sharply left - memorial plaque). We continue with nice views towards Beli breg and surrounding hills, and then the road passes into the forest. When we leave the forest we go at the cross to the right road, and a little higher, in a lane of a forest we continue on the middle marked road. Some ascending follows, and then at the cemetery we reach the main road which we follow to the right, and we continue walking on a sidewalk. Next follows an easy walk with a view towards the church of St. Ana, and when the cemetery on the right ends we go from the main road slightly left on a settled asphalt footpath, on which in few minutes we ascend to the church of St. Ana, in the settlement Sveta Ana pri Igu / St. Anna am Aigen.
From the church, we continue right and we walk to a panoramic platform, from which a beautiful view opens up.
From the panoramic platform we continue on the road forward towards the north and we start descending through the center of the settlement. Lower, at a bigger chapel we return to the main road, and we continue walking on a sidewalk, opposite the school we go right on a side road, on which we continue in the direction of a marked path. We continue also past individual houses, and then without large changes we continue among the fields. When the road passes into the forest it starts descending steeper, and when we leave the forest, we go past few more houses. After the last house, we continue on a cart track which brings us into a small valley, where on the right we notice overgrown pond, and then we on a cart track ascend to the houses in the settlement Sichauf, where we go right in the direction of border stone of Maria Theresa / Maria - Theresia - Stein. When the hamlet of few houses ends, on the left side of the cart track we notice the mentioned border stone and information board.
