Črna na Koroškem - Andrejev dom na Slemenu (by road)

Access to starting point:
First, we drive to Ravne na Koroškem (to here from Dravograd or Slovenj Gradec), and then we continue driving in the direction of Mežica and Črna na Koroškem. When we get to Črna na Koroškem we park somewhere on an appropriate place in the center of the settlement.
To the starting point, we can get to also from the direction Šoštanj or mountain pass Spodnje Sleme, but this isn't the best option, because then we all the time walk on the road, on which we drove to the starting point.

Path description:
From the spot, where we've parked at first we walk to the center of Črna na Koroškem, where there are monument, bus stop and a parish church of St. Ožbalt. From the center of the settlement, where there is also roundabout and larger number of the mountain signposts, we continue in the direction towards the mountain hut Dom na Smrekovcu and we continue on a sidewalk of main road which leads towards Šoštanj or mountain pass Spodnje Sleme (mountain pass near the mountain hut Andrejev dom na Slemenu). At first the path leads us past OŠ Črna na Koroškem, after that also past a larger parking lot and chapel. When the settlement ends road towards Javorje, church of St. Jošt and church of St. Magdalena branches off to the left, continuation on the mentioned road is possible also towards Uršlja gora and Andrejev dom na Slemenu (mentioned road is a little longer, but less busy and more appropriate for walking). The road on which we walk is for some time marked (blazes are otherwise rare), and then past the turn-off of the road towards linden tree Najevska lipa, brings us to the marked crossroad, where the marked path towards Smrekovec continues right on a side road, and we still continue on the asphalt road (direction mountain hut Dom na Slemenu), which later gradually becomes steeper. Also further road leads past individual homesteads, and then in few hairpin turns starts ascending towards the mountain pass Spodnje Sleme. Before we get to mountain pass marked path towards Uršlja gora and nearby church of St. Vida branches off to the left (here also from the left joins already mentioned variant past the church of St. Jošt and church of St. Magdalena).
From here only a short ascent follows and we already reach the crossing on the mountain pass Spodnje Sleme. From the crossing, we continue right and then on first crossroad after approximately 100 meters left in the direction of the mountain hut Andrejev dom na Slemenu, which in few minutes from the mountain pass, we also reach.
The described path isn't the most appropriate as an individual destination and it is recommended to use only in case, when we have parked the car near the mountain pass and in some circular tour we descend in Črna na Koroškem. In this case, that is the shortest path between Črna na Koroškem and mountain hut Andrejev dom na Slemenu.
