Access to starting point:
From Železniki we drive in the direction towards Cerkno. A little before the village Zali Log, the road continues straight towards Soriška planina and left towards Cerkno. We follow the signs for Cerkno all the way until we get to a somewhat larger crossroads, which leads left (180° turn) on the main road to Cerkno and straight towards Davča waterfalls (Davški slapovi) and Porezen. From here on, we drive straight and follow the signs for Davški slapovi. At the next larger crossroads, a fire station awaits us, where we continue straight. On the path there are still some smaller crossroads, but we always continue straight and follow the signs. A little before our destination, we get to a macadam path, which is soon interrupted by the stream Davča. Here we also park. There is enough parking space.
Path description:
The path from the parking lot leads straight over a small bridge towards the bottom waterfall, where there is also an information board with the description of the three Davča waterfalls (Davški slapovi). To the vantage point for the bottom and middle waterfall, we return a few meters, and a little before the small bridge, we turn uphill. After a few meters of ascent, at the first turn-off into a quarry, we continue straight, and at the second we turn right and continue through the quarry. Soon after the quarry, we get to a viewpoint for the middle waterfall, and a few meters ahead also for the upper waterfall.
