Dolga vas - Church of the Holy Trinity in Lendavske gorice

Access to starting point:
We leave the Pomurska highway at the junction for Dolga vas, where we short time drive on the highway H7, and from which we go on the first exit for Dolga vas. When we get to Dolga vas we go past the cemetery, where there is a marked parking lot, but parking is allowed only for the visitors of the cemetery. We drive to the other side of the cemetery, where at the crossroad we go left (right - Lendava) and then we park on the eastern side of the cemetery.

Path description:
From the parking lot, we at first carefully cross the main road, and then we go right towards Lendava. Already after few steps we go left on a side road, by which there are signs for tower Vinarium and the path Opekarniška pot. Next follows an ascent past the fire station, and on the part where the road runs through the forest, we get to a marked crossing, where the path Opekarniška pot branches off to the left.
We continue on the road which higher ascends past few houses and it brings us to a religious symbol, after which at a smaller crossroad we continue straight. Further, we still walk between occasional houses, and at the crossroads, we follow the blazes and signs for path Opekarniška pot.
Higher, we leave the path Opekarniška pot and the path which leads towards the lookout tower Vinarium and pyramid and we continue slightly right in the direction of the castle and Sveta Trojica. Only a little further, we get to another crossroad, where we go straight (sharply left, we return on the path towards the tower), and then we gradually start descending towards the south. After a short descent, the road towards Lendava turns sharply to the right, and at this spot, we leave it and we continue straight towards Sveta Trojica.
Next follows few minutes of easy walking and we get to the church or chapel of the Holy Trinity, from which a nice view opens up on surroundings.
