Kamna Gorica - Castle Lipniški grad (Pusti grad above Lipnica)

Access to starting point:
A) From highway Ljubljana - Jesenice we go to the exit Naklo, Podtabor or Brezje, and then we continue driving in the direction of Kropa. At the crossroad, where in the direction of straight road continues towards Kropa we turn right and a little further we get to Kamna Gorica, where in the middle of the settlement, by the sports field and playground we park on a smaller parking lot.
B) From highway Jesenice - Ljubljana we go to the exit Lesce or Radovljica, and then we continue driving in the direction of Radovljica and later village Lancovo, Lipnica and Kamna Gorica. When we get to Kamna Gorica we park on a smaller parking lot by the children's playground.

Path description:
From the starting point, we at first cross the road, and then we continue on a side road, that runs right from the chapel. The road leads us past few more houses, and then behind the last house, the asphalt ends and the road few meters further changes into a cart track, and it splits into two parts.
We continue straight (left one of the paths on Pusti grad) on a cart track which continues by the edge of a small valley, and then we quickly get to a saddle, where there is a marked crossing.
From the crossing, we continue left in the direction of natural learning trail Pusti grad (straight Fux footbridge and Radovljica, right unmarked path on Vreče), where after a short ascent from the left joins the above the mentioned path which leads on Pusti grad. Further gently sloping path leads steep above Galerije, and a little ahead also the path through Galerije joins. After the junction of the mentioned path we step out of the forest and the path through a meadow brings us to the settlement Zgornja Lipnica, where at the crossings we follow the signs for Pusti grad. Next follows a walk on a gently sloping macadam road which after few minutes joins another path from Fux footbridge. We still continue on the road which then brings us to the next houses, where at the crossings we again follow the signs for Pusti grad. Behind the last house a beautiful view opens up towards the Alps, after we again step in the forest, we get to a crossing, where a short path branches off to the left, which leads on Pusti grad. From the crossing, we reach the castle Pusti grad after approximately a minute of additional walking.
