Access to starting point:
A) From the Ljubljana–Jesenice highway, take the Vodice exit, then continue driving to the first traffic-light intersection in Vodice, where turn left in the direction of Cerklje na Gorenjskem and Brnik. When we get to the main roundabout in Spodnji Brnik, continue driving in the direction of Cerklje and Krvavec ski resort. At the end of the settlement Cerklje na Gorenjskem, leave the main road which continues towards Velesovo and Visoko, and continue driving slightly right on the road in the direction of the Krvavec ski resort. Further, we get to the village Grad, where signs for the settlement Ambrož pod Krvavcem point us right on a steep asphalt road (straight: bottom station of the cable car on Krvavec and Štefanja Gora). When the steepness on the steep road decreases a little, we will get to an intersection, where we continue left in the direction of the settlement Ambrož pod Krvavcem (straight: settlements Ravne, Apno and Šenturška Gora). A little further, the road temporarily descends a little, then ascends through occasionally quite panoramic slopes. Higher, we get to Ambrož pod Krvavcem, where on the left side we bypass the church of St. Ambrož and tourist farm Pr Ambružarju. From the tourist farm onwards, the road passes into the forest and ascends through it all the way to the mountain pasture Jezerca, where there is a large arranged parking lot. The road here flattens and turns left, about 500 m ahead it brings us to an intersection, where we continue right in the direction of the mountain pasture Kriška planina (straight: upper station of the cable car and mountain hut Planinski dom na Gospincu). Next follows only a short steep ascent and we get to the parking lot by the edge of the mountain pasture Kriška planina.
Now the road from the mountain pasture Jezerca to Kriška planina is closed to public traffic; this extends the path by approximately 15 minutes.
B) From the Jesenice–Ljubljana highway, take the Kranj–East exit, then continue driving towards Brnik, Komenda and Mengeš. Route description:
From the parking lot, we head onto a wide cart track which goes under the cableway and starts to ascend over the pastures (direction Dom na Krvavcu mountain hut). The moderately steep path brings us to the Dom na Krvavcu mountain hut after a little less than 30 minutes of walking, from which a nice view opens towards Gorenjska.

Brane V.-I was there yesterday when I went to Kalški greben. Unfortunately, few people know where the summit of Krvavec is. There are signs, that's all. Just a year ago, the logbook was at the cable car hut. It would be good to put a marker with a stamp and logbook at the top of Krvavec. Krvavec should not be intended only for skiing in winter.
