Lovrenc na Pohorju - Sveti Ignacij (Rdeči Breg) (via Kapus)

Access to starting point:
A) From the road Maribor - Dravograd, between HE Fala and HE Ožbalt we turn left towards Lovrenc na Pohorju (from the direction Dravograd we turn right). On the other side of Drava we start ascending along Radoljna, and at the marked crossroad, we go slightly right on the main road towards Lovrenc na Pohorju. When we get to the settlement Lovrenc na Pohorju we follow the main road, in the center of the settlement, we turn right towards the primary school, where we park on the parking lot by the school. We can also park elsewhere in the settlement, where there are a few arranged free parking spots.
B) We drive into Ruše, and then we follow the road towards Lovrenc na Pohorju. In the settlement Činžat we get to a saddle, where the road starts descending, and lower we go left towards Lovrenc na Pohorju. When we get to the settlement Lovrenc na Pohorju we follow the main road, in the center of the settlement, we turn right towards the primary school, where we park on the parking lot by the school. We can also park elsewhere in the settlement, where there are a few arranged free parking spots.

Route description:
From the parking lot, we continue on the left road (right road leads to Holiday settlement), which continues towards the west and soon splits. We continue on the right road which starts descending through the forest, and lower we get to the stream Slepnica, where we reach another road and a marked junction.
We go right in the direction of Kapus (left - path via Dobnik and path via Brabar) and continue for a short time on the road in the direction of Puščava, and at the first crossroad we go sharply left to the road indicated by the markers as well.
We continue walking on a macadam road which ascends past a few houses and higher farms, and then for some time continue through the forest. Higher, the road flattens and leads us across to the homestead Pavlič (before the entrance to the homestead there is a warning for a dangerous dog), behind which the road changes into a cart track but we continue slightly right and continue the ascent along the edge of the forest. In the forest, we gradually transition to an indistinct ridge, along which we step out of the forest onto grazing slopes. We continue towards the outbuilding of the farm Kapus, which we bypass on the right side, and then we ascend to a macadam road, where we join the path from Puščava.
We continue left between the outbuilding and the house, and after the farm the road passes into the forest, through which it continues all the way to Cigelnica, where there is a marked junction.
We continue left on a footpath in the direction of Klančnik and Sveti Ignacij (straight HE Ožbalt), where we ascend on a cart track. Higher, we cross a poor macadam road, and behind it we ascend for some time on the cart track. Higher the cart track narrows and the markers direct us to the left, where we step out of the forest, and then along the edge of the forest in a few minutes we reach the summit of Klančnik.
From the summit we continue slightly left and on a panoramic grassy slope in a few minutes descend to the nearby Hunting lodge Klančnik.
From the hunting lodge we continue in the direction towards Sveti Ignacij (left downwards one of the paths towards Lovrenc na Pohorju) and after a minute of further walking we arrive at the road, along which we continue a light to moderate descent. After approximately 15 minutes of descent we arrive at a small saddle at the homestead Hudej, where the road becomes asphalted. We continue straight and at the cross the path past the homestead Brabar joins us from the left (starting point Lovrenc na Pohorju or Janževski Vrh).
The path ahead leads us also past the homestead Žumar, and behind it from the junction we continue slightly right towards Sveti Ignacij. We continue on a macadam road which crosses a strip of forest, then with nice views on the right side we also bypass the homestead Hleb, and behind it we quickly arrive at the church of St. Ignacij.
