Sora - Breznik (Boben)

Access to starting point:
A) We drive to Medvode, where from the intersection at the Spar store we drive in the direction of Sora. In Sora we turn left towards Katarina and then park in an appropriate place by the road.
B) We drive to Škofja Loka, then continue driving towards Medvode. Just before the settlement of Godešič we turn right towards Lipica, but we continue further, where we cross over the Sora river, and when we reach the settlement of Gosteče we turn left. This is followed by the drive to the settlement of Sora, where we turn right in the direction of Katarina, and immediately after the intersection we park in an appropriate place by the road.

Path description:
From the intersection we continue on the road in the direction of Topola, by the road we walk to the company Filtertehnika Prima, where the signs for Katarina, Sv. Jakob and Tehovec direct us to the left. Next follows the crossing of Ločnica, by the edge of the forest we continue left upwards on the macadam road, which we quickly leave and continue right on a cart track with the path. Through the forest at the junctions we follow the blazes and ascend on the cart track. On the section where the slope is steeper, the cart track narrows into a mountain path, a few minutes further the path widens again into a cart track, where we follow the blazes to a smaller saddle where there is a wooden cross.
At the cross we leave the marked path, which turns slightly to the right, and continue sharply left on a cart track which quickly splits.
We choose the upper right cart track, at the next junction the better beaten left cart track. A little further the path flattens and we arrive at the top of Breznik, where a few steps to the right we notice a bench and a wooden plaque with the summit name.
