Pura Lempuyang, or Pura Lempuyang Luhur, is one of Bali's oldest temples and also one of its nine directional temples—the main one for the east. 1,700 steps lead to the top (reminiscent of Adam's Peak in Sri Lanka, ascended by 5,500 steps)!
