Zvodno - Tolsti vrh above Celjska koča (via Suhi potok and on ski slope)

Access to starting point:
From highway Ljubljana - Maribor, we go to the exit Celje - center and we continue driving in the direction Laško and Zidani Most. The road leads us through the center of Celje, and then before Savinja brings us to a roundabout with a fountain. Here we continue "straight" over the first bridge (direction Laško and Zidani Most) and we follow the road to the next traffic light crossroad, where we continue left over the second bridge over Savinja. Immediately behind the bridge at the crossroad we continue right. After approx 500 meters we get to the underpass under the railway track (on the right side there is a large parking lot and the starting point in Zagrad), we go through it and we continue straight past the fire station in Zagrad. We follow the road through the village, and higher in Zvodno it brings us to a smaller crossroad at the bus stop, where we notice signposts for Grmada right, Hudičev graben straight, parking lot 1.2 km straight. We continue straight towards the new parking lot (2020), and the road gradually flattens and narrows. New parking lot - our starting point is located just by the road before the fish farm. Here we can park and we go on a trip on paths, which lead past Marija, or through Hudičev graben, or through Suhi potok. To the starting point, we can also come from Dolenjska and Zasavje. In this case, we at first drive to Rimske Toplice and then through Laško to the above described second bridge, from where we continue in accordance with the description.

Path description:
From the starting point signpost for Hudičev graben points us back in the direction of Celje, but after few meters we don't continue sharply to the left towards Hudičev graben, but we continue on the asphalt road approx 300 meters, and only then we turn sharply to the left into the forest, where we follow signposts for cottage Pečovniška koča and marked footpath through the forest in the direction of Suhi potok. Soon at the crossing sharply to the left we join the marked path, which is coming from the right from abandoned quarry. Immediately after the crossing follows a right sharp turn, where for easier orientation there are also two rocky cairns. We continue steeply upwards towards the top of abandoned quarry, where a well-hardened and marked path soon joins the riverbed of the stream Suhi potok. In the area between Bavč on the left side and Grmada on the right side it doesn't seem that the stream would be dry, because we can hear it how it is trickling. Soon before a big rock and the sign with mischievous message we reach the crossing, where we continue to the right towards the mountain hut Pečovniška koča and Grmada (to the left leads the path towards Bavč). The path further is a little narrower and crosses a road and the steepness of the forest upwards. We soon reach a meadow part and we can already see the cottage Pečovniška koča. From the cottage in accordance with signposts at the flat part, we continue on the wide path towards Čater, where we go to the right towards Celjska koča. From there we get to the nearby Adventure park, where we continue steeply uphill on a meadow part just by the ski slope. All the time to the top of the highest upper station of the ski lift, we enjoy beautiful views on the nearby hills and Celje. At the upper station, we go into the forest and after few-minute ascent on the western ridge, we reach the vantage point, from where we can see Posavje hills towards the south and west. From here follows only few steps to the vegetated peak.
