Description of mountain:
Babni vrh (also known as Babji vrh in the literature) is a wooded peak located south of Celje and Štore in the Posavsko hribovje. It lies at the start of a shared ridge formed by a group of hills in the third row along the south side of the Celje Basin. The ridge begins on the east with Babni vrh, continues via Ravnine and Ramanca (mountain hut on Svetina), and ends on the west with Tovsti vrh, where it gradually merges into the Savinja. Northwest of Babni vrh stand its two guardian hills from the second row: Veliki Bojanski vrh and Mali Bojanski vrh. The summit itself offers no views as it is covered in evergreen conifers; there is no logbook or stamp at the top, but a peak marker is attached to a nearby tree (2021). Views are available just below the summit to the east toward Resevna, Rifnik, Boč, Donačka gora, and beyond. The peak's name is interesting; some believe it comes from its nearly gentle accessibility from the south.
