Description of mountain:
Mala Boncla is a 1131 m high rocky, secured peak above Javorniški Rovt in the Karawanks, offering visitors a nice view towards Javornik and Javorniški Rovt, and in the background towards Gorje. Southwest from here the view reaches the Bohinj Mountains, and west to the Julian Alps—from Viševnik across Triglav and Škrlatica to Kukova špica. Northwest, Golica and Krvavka lie as plain as day, while to the north are Belska planina, Struška, Srednica, and Kamnitnik.
Mala Boncla, neighbor to the less interesting 1241 m high Velika Boncla, appears under the name Bavha on some older maps, which in folk jargon means white cow.
